Thanks for the comments and looking at the blog. It&#039;s nice to hear from our audience.
I agree that Nicholas Carr&#039;s review is interesting though I think it would have had much more power for me if he&#039;d read past page 9. It&#039;s hard for me to give him much cred if he didn&#039;t read the rest of Weinberger&#039;s arguments.
That said, I think negative reviews are great to read because it forces you to give it a more critical eye. Shelly (Burningbird) Powers didn&#039;t like the book much either. And I think her &lt;a href=&quot;http://burningbird.net/technology/misc/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;review&lt;/a&gt; of it is very thoughtful and thought provoking. And she read the whole thing.

That idea kinds of builds on that LOC speech podcast of his I&#039;ve plugged here before. Maybe I can get to it this summer.</description>
